Jets Dazzle, Introduce New Bassist

13187670_10208343950850390_1252317216_nLast week The Paper Jets made their triumphant official return to the stage at New Brunswick’s iconic Court Tavern. Friends and longtime fans were eager to see the band for the first time in nearly a year and they did not disappoint! Armed with a swath of new material (including the Elvis-baiting “Charlie It Can’t Be Done,” the wistful “Wonderful Love,” and raucous set opener, “Go On Go On”), the band had the audience on its heels the whole night. Guitarist Mike Virok played one of his new self-built guitars while singer Brian Erickson – decked out in all white – made his debut on keyboards. Drummer Frank Lettieri manned the engine room steadily while the band introduced new bassist Scott Austin Miller (late of Virok’s former band Evangelina & the Boys) to the accepting crowd. Welcome back, fellas!
