The Paper Jets have added one final show to their calendar. Join us as we close out the year at our favorite haunt, The Court Tavern in New Brunswick for an animal shelter benefit featuring our friends Casino Sundae and Alpha Rabbit. The show is on December 30th and we go on promptly at 8:30pm.
One More Show Added
Live on 90.5 The Night
Brian stopped by 90.5 The Night: Brookdale Public Radio to talk with Megan O’Shea about the band’s new album, the recent Asbury Music Awards, and how the New Jersey music and arts scene has continued to foster positivity within its ranks. He performs two new songs, “Charlie It Can’t Be Done,” and “Chatter,” and discusses the influence that local bands had on The Paper Jets’ sound this time around. He also reveals the one song he wishes he had written.
JETS RECEIVE AWARD NOM
Update: Once again, The Paper Jets’ run at the Asbury Music Awards ended in defeat. Like last year, we thank our fans, families, and friends for their continued support!
For the second year in a row, The Paper Jets have received an Asbury Award nomination for Best Indie/Alt-Rock Band. The awards are decided upon by a group of venues, concert promoters, journalists, and relevant business owners throughout the Asbury Park, NJ area.
The awards cover dozens of categories and choose from hundreds of artists and bands. It is both an honor and a privilege to receive such a nomination.
The ceremony takes place on Thursday December 8, 2016 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. Wish us luck!
Live From House of Independents
The Paper Jets’ mark the likely end of their 2016 show calendar on December 16, as they take the stage at the House of Independents, one of New Jersey’s premier new concert venues. The House opened in the Spring of 2016 and have already hosted a number of acclaimed performers. The Paper Jets will be providing support to 2013’s MTVu College Artist of the Year, The Lonely Biscuits. Along for the ride are local faves YJY and Lost Boy, and Rock N Roll Hi Fives.
