New Album Finished + Radio Preview September 20

Well folks, after more than a year of blood, sweat, and tears, we have finally finished our brand new record, We Are All Strange Friends. After completing the recording with engineer Ian Bennett at Moshi Productions, we headed to historic Ardent Studios, the birthplace of our biggest influence (Big Star), and mastered the album with the amazing Larry and Kevin Nix at L Nix Mastering.

Here’s a personal message from the band:

“We arrived home safely this evening from our Memphis mission. It was 100% worth the 38 total hours of driving. We got our album mastered by Larry and Kevin Nix and got to walk the halls of Ardent Studios and mingle with its ghosts and legends. We got to see Sun Studios and stroll down Beale Street. We got rowdy in Nashville, and recorded at The Ryman. We enjoyed spicy barbecue and warm hospitality. It was a fitting way to finish our new album. Since it began, we’ve watched as friends and family have come and gone. We responded by going and doing; by setting out and accomplishing. And we thank everyone who has stuck by us, who have come to our shows, who have talked to us afterwards, and who believe that we’re up to something good. The album is done. And it’s coming at you really soon!”

You won’t have to wait to long to hear some of the finished material, either, as we’ll be returning to 107.7 WRRC The Bronc on Thursday, September 20, at 10:30pm to play THREE TRACKS from the album! Just click here at showtime to listen live. And if you’d like to hear one of our new songs right now, in live form, you can take a gander at the below video from our performance at EJ’s in Seaside Heights, NJ, on September 7. Enjoy!

Speaking of EJ’s, we’d like to give huge thanks to the guys in Midnight Mosaic for bringing us out and for being unbelievably cool dudes! We just played the last of three Seaside shows with them last night, and we all had a blast. How much of a blast, you ask? I think the video below, featuring members of both bands, should cover it. Thanks to the amazing Amanda Guthrie for recording it! Now, go listen to Midnight Mosaic!
