From Insult to Injury, the pre-Paper Jets EP that Brian recorded (then shelved) back in 2005 is finally seeing proper release nearly 10 years later! Bill Lambusta, who served as our lead guitarist and co-songwriter from 2008 – 2011, will be joining Brian in the studio for the weekend of March 8 – 9, 2014. The last time the two worked together was in December of 2010. They recorded seven songs (three by Bill, three by Brian, and one co-write)
Our very own Scottie Maloney – bassist, co-writer of “Lena Lena,” lover of vintage automobiles – will contributing some guitar work on a new project currently being undertaken by Timid Roosevelts drummer Jaime Parker. Whether or not it is a straight-up solo album or a new band remains to be seen.
